My I-485 status changed to show that an RFE was sent. I scheduled a doctor appointment for medicals, but the paper RFE will not arrive before the appointment. Do I need the RFE notice for the medical exam itself?

For mailing the response to USCIS, include the actual RFE notice so the response is matched correctly.

For the doctor appointment, you usually do not need the RFE notice.
